Malvasia doc

It is very remarkable the perfect balance between the soft and creamy consistency, due to the abundant glycerin, freshness and mineral typical of the grape variety. Overall harmonious and with perfectly integrated alcohol. The persistence is long and on citrus and floral notes.

Bouquet	On the nose it allures with its peppery notes and fine herbs:rosemary, sage and thyme.
Winemaking:	After the harvesting we made a de-stemming and soft crushing. One night of skin contact. Racking and fermentation in steel tanks. The wine ages in steel tanks until the following spring until bottling.

Specogna Vignaioli

In 1963 Leonardo Specogna, after residing in Switzerland as an emigrant for some years (typical situation for the people of the Friuli region in those years), went back to Friuli Venezia Giulia and bought a small plot of land on the hills of Rocca Bernarda in Corno di Rosazzo, in the heart of the vineyards in Friuli. These lands have always been devoted to oenology and here the plant of the vine has found the best conditions since Roman times, thanks to the fact that in this oriental strip of land of our region the climate and the soil have features that are unique and exceptional for winemaking. Friuli-Venezia Giulia

Friuli-Venezia Giulia wine (or Friuli wine) is wine made in the northeastern Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Once part of the Venetian Republic and with sections under the influence of the Austro-Hungarian Empire for some time, the wines of the region have noticeable Slavic and Germanic influences. There are 11 Denominazione di origine controllata (DOC) and 3 Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG) in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia area. The region has 3 Indicazione Geografica Tipica (IGT) designations Alto Livenza, delle Venezie and Venezia Giulia. Nearly 62% of the wine produced in the region falls under a DOC designation. The area is known predominantly for its white wines which are considered some of the best examples of Italian wine in that style. Along with the Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, the Friuli-Venezia Giulia forms the Tre Venezie wine region which ranks with Tuscany and Piedmont as Italy's world class wine regions.
